They actually help you to promote and sell your work to an extent, as they receive no commission if you don't sell anything. I've read over their privacy policy and terms of service. I would never send you someplace that I haven't checked out personally. But I always advise that everyone read a site's privacy policy and terms of service anyways in case they've made changes.
